2016 Rebuild Rowlett 5K was Presented by

NEW DATE IS JUNE 10







Thank you for sticking with us through the postponement of our race. It is confirmed for June 10 in downtown Rowlett.







Parking is available in the lot next to the Chamber of Commerce, the First Baptist Church parking lot and if you want to warm up a little before the run you can park at DART. We'll start last-minute packet pickup promptly at 7am. Opening ceremony will be at 7:45 and the shotgun start at 8:00 on the nose.







We are "Rowlett Strong" and will rebuild even better than before.  Proceeds are going to Rebuild Rowlett Foundation for Long Term Relief, administered by the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce.  Percentage will be as high as possible of the race registrations after event costs are deducted.

Cost for 5K run/walk: $25 pre-registration, $35 race day (includes finisher medal for all)





Group of 5 through 10 are $20 each registrant, to register a larger group please send a request to steve@rowlettstrong.org

HERE'S HOW THE VIRTUAL 5K WORKS: Register for the race. We will send you a race packet with a t shirt and finisher medal. When June 10th arrives you can race, run or walk on a road, trail, track or treadmill. It’s all about getting out there and challenging yourself to go the distance. 







Packet Pick up: Rowlett Fit Body Boot Camp on June 8 and 9. See below.





Race Swag: Register by June 2nd to be guaranteed a custom designed t-shirt and name on race bib.







All finishers will receive a finisher's medal







Finisher certificates will be available for download







Age Group Awards 3 deep in each group 14 and under, 15-19, 20-75 in increments of 5.

FAQ answers:



1. All race day activities are taking place in downtown Rowlett. Parking will be available next to Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, at the churches or DART.





2. There will be Porta potties on site. The timeline below is very tight so please plan to arrive early.





3. Virtual participants will receive a communication on how to load their results prior to the event date.(Virtual means you run on your own, time your self, and submit performance on the honor system) 







4. June 2 is the deadline to register to guarantee a race t shirt and have first name on race bib







5. The shirts will be maroon with appropriate sponsor logos on the back, event logo on the front, and it will be a performance moisture wicking shirt in unisex sizing.







6. No shirt exchanges until post event if shirts remain.







7. We will take finish line photos as a part of our timing system for finisher certificates and finish line photos. Low resolution photos are complimentary and high resolution photos may be purchased.







8. Please download the Its Your Race app to get instant results, sponsor details, and event updates at the palm of your hand.







9. We will not mail or hold any race packets not picked up on at packet pickup or race day







10. Pre-race packet pick up is at Rowlett Fit Body Boot Camp located at 2502 Lawing Lane in Rowlett, 75088. They are behind the Rowlett Municipal Court/Police Station building near Katy Railroad Park. Their phone number is 214-888-2844.







11. Each finisher will receive an event medal







12. Each participant on the course must have an event bib and sign the event waiver







13. Race day registration goes to $35 for the 5k with no group discounts







14. There are no pets allowed at this event.
